PhillipA, thanks for the heads up re Bosch products! You refer to coax cables for the distributor wiring - low voltage, I assume. Do you suggest a shielded cable for both of the leads from the dizzy amp to the coil?
. I have never experienced this and I have 2 Bosch alternators, but my signal wire goes back to a unichip under the seat , then forward to an amp on the LH guard, and all is shielded cable earthed at both ends.

The first I heard about it was from Graeme Cooper about 10-15 years ago, so it is a long known and well known problem.

I think only the signal lead from the amp is necessary ( colour white/black) , The other is 12v feed. You can get single core light coax from Jaycar. Probably best if you route the new coax back across the engine ( along the path of the injector harness) and then forward to the coil.

    Regards Philip A

PhillipA, many thanks and cheers for the New Year. He'll give it a crack, even though he's a light engines mech by training, and now a Reece manager. Takes all types.
