That's nothing - I've seen them where they can't be machined flat again !!
I would say most I've seen have been around the 5mm mark before machining.

Where to go from here I'm not too sure. I have tried to drill another hole but the metal on the screw extracto seems to blunt my drill bits rather than drilling another hole.
Does anyone know of a mobile engineer or alike in the Sydney area that may be able to assist.
