I really have nothing to add to this thread. But was wondering if you know what model garrett turbo they use?

Not sure. The parts system doesn't tell me and we don't keep that sort of thing in stock so I can't eyeball one.

Does the D3 have fly by wire accelerator ? symptom sounds like the delay my mate had in his TD5 110 ?

Did Bribie in early 2007 at 24psi and DSC on with no probs. That's me at the northern end in my avatar. I have learnt though that the DSC should be off for mud!

did a 4wd course on bribie in the raaf back in early 90s, were had old 110s which were ok on the beach. Whole weeks was just a big bbq and **** up with a bit of fishing and 4wding thrown in. We did learn a little though!

Haven't had mine in mud yet, dunno that I will. wife would craack a nana if it came home filthy dirty

In case you werent aware, where the tow points are ( ie power) there is a rear recovery point as well built into the chassis, ie have to take off the plastic cover to get to it. I now just leave the front and rear one off all the time.....just in case ,

yeah I knew where the rear one was, just easier to use the towbar at the time.

ouch! Hope mine does not need turbo replaced as well. Mine does not die like that, just off for about 5 secs then off it goes, like the software goes into a loop while it sorting itself out then works out what gear and throttle is supposed to be at. Still when it does that when a truck is bearing down on you it is most disconcerting.
