    Nice pics.
    How did you guys do the pipe bends, they look very neat.
    Did you bend it or weld on some mandrel bends?

    I've just gotta save up a bit so I can get a Defender and start making some bits like yours!

    The bends are weld on bends and then flatten off the welds so it looks seamless

    lurch wants a couple as well.....



    i would like to see some pics of where and how they bolt up to the chassis......
    and....is the step section (round pipe bit) strong enough to jack the vehicle from.....?

    Look very similar to my freelander sliders, similar 50x50x3.2mm tube. 6 chassis bolts, and 5 sill bolts each, VERY sturdy.

    I would like to share a different design I made. RHS 100x50x6mm, horizontal position. Your are real sliders, mine are sliders/steps with chequer plate on top:
