    LRH,
Where did you buy the hippo liner from. There seems to be some difficulty finding retailers in WA?

I desparately need to reduce in cabin engine noise. Most noise seems to be coming from the transmission tunnel, possibly though the gear stick boot. Has anyone done anything to reduce noise from this opening?
I have driven it down to VIC the other weekend - seems to have reduced the reverberations in the cabin, so yes it was worth doing.

I still have to do the firewall and front floor panels then I will start to look under the bonnet.

I ended up getting it at my local Protec Auto Paint supplier - but did take many calls to GPI to get some leads.

Try giving GPI in Melbourne a ring and ask for your local suppliers - if not I could see if I could arrange for some to be sent to you? My local guy now has the material numbers in his computer so he can order more in - this was the hardest part!!!

Very nice work there. You're definitely doing it the right way.

I've found that a combination of products and materials has made the most difference. I think this is why just one product doesn't do the whole job, though the Formshield made a huge improvement to the heat from the tranny tunnel.

So I'm still in the process of getting various things and adding them to the car. Well worth it in the end, I'm sure!

There's a place local to me that stocks it. PM me if you want details, as even if they won't post, I can pick it up and send it down if you're stuck.

finish is really down to choice - as it can be painted / rolled / sprayed on, I wanted a tough grippy surface to stop things rolling around so rolled.
The texture is smoothish when you run your hands over it.

I'll check the fingerprints - but they sure are not mine

I think there is some Yellow Labrador hair in there also - my Black and Chocolate ones don't show up
