    14" 4x4 tyres ?

Howdy Guys , I was given some 14x7" rims last night to fit my trailer and was wondering if it is possible to get 4x4 tyres to fit these rims ? Main reason is i want to turn it into an off road trailer .

You can get 14" light truck tyres that would work. I saw a tuff truck with I think 38" tryes on 14" rims at TTC. I didn't know you could get that big a tyre in 14", I did look at them a few times in disbelief.

KENDA do a 215/75R14 112 at a good price, I've put them on most of the service vans at work and am getting a good run so far, the boys report good handling & load carrying (these are bigger than what was OE).

i know we are all on a budget, but, if making a trailer maybe you want landrover stud pattern so all wheels are interchangeable????

I had thought of that . But i want to be able to tow it with the car as well as the landy so i was going for inbetween .

with the clearance of the wheels and the guards i'll be cutting off the suspension and welding in a couple of lengths of box section .

but in saying all that it might end up standard yet

    Try Subaru sites.

If you have a look around the Subaru sites or post a question on one of their forums they will have all the info on 14in off road tyres as thats the common upgrade for the subarus that started life with 13in rims such as the Brumby.

Don't fit rally tyres. We've done this before and the construction of the rally tyre isn't suitable. The carcass is too light in construction and also unable to sustain constant high speed use on the road. I know this may seem to contradict the design criteria for a rally tyre, but the application and use is not the same.
