    Ooo nasty.
Looks like he didn't check that one over before it went out!
He is a friend of mine, but I don't use him as a mechanic as I've seen a few dodgy things come out of there.
A guy at work bought a 60 series cruiser and had ***** check it over before he bought it.
They gave it the tick of approval. Olmatey had it for 6 months and it was getting serviced regularly at ******.
***** were busy one week and it went to a workshop I recommended, the mechanic there only had to start it to diagnose a stuffed piston.
    Cost him a new donk.

I wont start on the "other" 4wd business in *******, mate at work with a 75 series, lunched a balancer, screwed the woodruff key, took it there, paid lotsa dough, brand new crank, 5,000 kms later its done the key again AND the key on the oil pump drive, pays for new crank, no labour for repair, then thinks, mmmmmm, doesn't sound right, takes it to Warragul fuel injection, funny it doesn't sound right, the pump is 8 degrees out

    But I wont get started

That is bad.... i guess if you did it yourself then if it failed you can no one else....

Problem is finding good trades people in all trades...
I work with a few plumbers that think water flows up hill and i work with a sparky that thinks green is ok for an Active.

There is no way to control the industry, but slander does help....

please read the conditions of access before naming names, you have a gripe with someone go to a dedicated site such as notgoodenough.com.au they specialise in it.

i wont tolerate it here as it is too open to abuse.
