    They aren't too expensive given how long they last as Clarkie said. I was quoted $145 by one place and mostly $200 by everyone else. Except LR who were about $400 or so.

    The lowest quote was actually by a non LR specific parts place.

    Being a Dayco part surely they are common to at least one other GM engine?

    By the way I did a dodgy shim job on the bolt (Sunday morning and I don't have any shim material). Refitted it along with the belt that came off it and the squeal is gone.....for now.

    I haven't given it a real test drive. Just idled it and revved it up a bit and drove it up and down the driveway.

    Still haven't replaced it. Very minor squealing when first started of a morning. Not bad since I shimmed it with alfoil 5000 kms ago
