I.ve got a receipt here for $120.00 ea from 1998. 10 years, around double, sounds right-- sadly.

Sorry, I should have explained. Just got done for being 1mm over on track on my one of my Rovers. In NSW It seems RTA are onto this changing track thing. I was refered to thishttp://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi09_rev4.pdf Now have to get blue plate to get rid off that sticker/defect.

I'm a little concerned now. The NSW RTA used to allow an increase of 51mm in track for solid axle 4x4's and only 25mm for everything else, but I can't see that anywhere on that document.

It is posible some of us may not be leagle looking at that document. Best thing to do is talk to an Engineer and deal with it. If we are not compliant our insurance will not honour us. I've been through 3 Engineers to find one that will help my cause. PM me if you need some help here. As for the rims on this thread, they look like my Eastern Ck rims on my rangie. They just seem to put them out there at any offset customer asks for. I doubt many of them are leagle with out Engineering. Sorry for hijacking this thread.
