I'm glad I found this thread, I've always wanted those rims. They are really expensive for steelies though, are they worth 4x the price of the common 8 spokes?
Lucky where not in NSW then - but you are seriously unlucky.
Did they measure by hand?
In all seriousness there are so many variables to this argument, 130s where fitted with different rims to 110s using the same bearings & brake system
You can argue for that.
If you upgrade brakes on a RR, you can also prob argue for that.
It is very hard to find rims that are +8 Offset on the shelf, they all seem to go straight to -25 unless custom.
Everyone just assumes wheels are set at 0.

1997 Discovery 300Tdi
The RTA inpectors are all by the book. No they did not use a tape over all. They went by specs of the Rover and measured the Rims.. I did mention they are the same as a 130" and they said what is a 130
. So then got the defect. Have spoken to a engineer on the specs on a 130 but is still very border line. Anyway it is all sorted.
