For my 300 fender fitment,
Im removing the existing PCV, cranking the oil drain away from the block. Stitching some 25mm Al pipe to the rocker cover, then mounting the Provent to the outside of the air filter canister outer cover. It will be on an angle but the fitment guide says anything up to 45 degrees is allowable? Probably wont be able to use the provent mount but will fab up something that is easy to remove when cleaning/ changing air filter.
Maybe an idea???

Hi Guys ;
I haven't looked back on pages of posts within this thread but wanted to know if anyone can tell me where to purchase a Provent outright, I missed out on this offer a while ago as I don't do many K's on the 300tdi disco but from memory they were situated somewhere close to homebush in sydney??
Also this is a question for Ben ( isuzurover ) are there any filter test results available as yet?
1 problem im getting with it at the moment is that it is fuming a little out of the oil filler cap.
Im going to make up a new gasket so try and remidy the problem but I feel there may be just a little too much backpressure with the provent fitted.
When I get the chance im going to rehose it and see if I can ease the backpressure a bit.
Mccrover from what you are saying and if I can understand it correctly the presence of the Provent is causing a higher presssure build up from blowby within the rocker cover and is pushing oil past thru the filler cap ? would you agree it may be a faulty gasket seal on filler cap itself ?
Also redoing the Plumbing might ease some back pressure and it maynot?
i was speaking to bruce davis today and he mentioned a tappet/rocker? cover mod that increases the baffles before the breather pipe, anyone heard of this as i will be looking at doing this mod when i replace the i/c?. apparently the added baffles catch the oil before the breather thereby reducing the oil vapour passing through the i/c, turbo, etc.
cheers
yorkie
Mine is working well, but isn't anywhere near as saturated as I expected. I did clean my OE breather at the same time though, perhaps my Tdi isn't too worn.
Is anyone else getting close to a return? I only had to 15k and I'm just about there.
