LOL. Reminds me of a mate who has a degree or two and a PhD, yet I've never heard anyone refer to him as Dr......

seeing as he runs the local newsagency

(although he was treated with more respect in his previous [corporate] life apparently )

    Got mine today.

Does anyone know the OE breather hose diameters for Tdi? I plan on fitting tomorrow.

Ben, got mine today, and will fit it on the weekend. Do you or anyone else have a few photos of where the best place is to fit it?
Should I clean out the intercooler whist I'm at it - it's a new "Jase" special only two months ago.

Thanks Iain. Sorry no photos yet - but hopefully someone will post some when they fit it? You just need to make sure that the drain can gravity feed (i.e. that the (12mm) drainage pipe slopes downwards for its entire length).

Would ge a good idea to clean the IC if needed, you shouldn't have to do it again for a Loooooong time.

It's going to be a tight tight fit in a 300 automatic. I'm keen to see if a flange can be put on the rocker cover to do away with the OE breather. otherwise, it'll need to be on the qtr panel near the brake booster. Does anyone want to join me fitting it in a enzed carpark - so one can simply buy any necessary bits on an ad hoc basis?

IF someone keen / knowledgable thinks they can assist / run a melbourne fitting session lets see if we can organise something.

    Fitting?

    Thanks Ben,

I received the unit today. Does the standard vehicle have an oil return or do I attach a catch can or plumb it somehow into the sump? I'd also be interested to see some fitting photos or anyone in SE QLD who wouldn't mind an observer while they fitted theirs.

EDIT "Just read other post and answered my questions."

Do we need to fit it in conjunction with an oil change (mine is in 3500km ~8 weeks) or fit now and log oil change details as per form.

    Thanks

    Pete
