There on the left side of the coloum theres a big'ish round one for the

flashers and in the same bit of loom a squre 'ish one for the hazards....

I got my hazards working yesterday, still no horn or indecators though

One thing i have found with rangies is that the hazard switch is the problem when the blinkers wont work corectly as it has the power go to it first and then to the blinker stalk switch and the problem is the contacts in the bottom of the hazard switch corrode and no power flows through the circut have a look at the hazard switch at he bottom of it there a few sets of contacts ive found if ya pull the switch on and off a few dozzen times it loosens the crap off the contacts and hay presto ya blinkers come back to life ......

As for the headlights best bet would be to rewire them proper so they can handle more current thus having the ability to run a beta higher wattage set of globes the previous owner of my rig did this and the only probs i have is the screw together fuse holders are starting to fail and the system needs a good tidy up .....

    Hope that helps

Are you saying that the power gos through the hazard flasher (can) then to the hazard switch then up to the coloum switch to the indecators ?

and from there back to the blinker can ?

I was very cranky last night...got the lights working OK got the hazards working ok no way could I work out the horn and blinkers...

    Tony

PS wot you doing up in the big smoke on the weekend?

Mate not 100% on direction of power flow but i kow if the blinkers dont work its got something to do with the hazzard switch as the contacts in it get corroded and stop tha blinkers pull the hasard switch on an off a few times and then try tha blinkers and give the contacts a spray as ive found this problem in quite a few pre 85 rangies and also in a couple of countys and its allways been the silly lucas system through that bloddy hazzard switch ...

Re trip to big smoke im coming down to purchase another 4.4 and maby go visit my sister tho id say it may be to far out of tha way as im not still sure on where it is im picking up the 4.4 yet tho we will give u a shout on tha land line when we are in the vacinity as by this time it should be around mid afternoon when we will call ok buddy
