D2 door lock stuck - now unstuck

In the process of trying to remove the door lock with extreme violence I am pleased to say when the door lock was given a good bashing from the inside and it released itself

    Tail door lock jammed

I used lanox sprayed from the outside through the opening where the release rod goes through the rubber cover ( RH side of the handle ). It worked immediately I then removed the lock and did my best to clean it up . it was jammed up with dust and grease. The o/s handle was dry and not working properly so lubed that as well.

try adding a second tension spring to compensate for the one in the grab handle. from memory it goes from the lever upwards to a spot near the " button" at the top of the door. the extra pressure seems to keep the old lock working for about three or so years now
