Fit a socket to the cranfshaft bolt, the add a breaker bar with a short piece of pipe, rest it on the chassis rail and quikly click the starter.

Some will give me a spray about doing it this way, but I have done it on most of all the vehicles I have owned and never had a problem.

That's fine for the un-doing part - it's the doing up bit that you need a locking tool for - especially on an auto.

PS. Whenever you remove or torque a crank bolt, always put a shield in front of the radiator. A bit of sheet steel is fine.

Thats what rattle guns are for...

PS. much easier if you remove the radiator first
