    drivers window gets stuck

when my window is right up, and i then try to make it go down, the rear section wont drop without some coaxing, causing it to get stuck. once the intial 2-3cm is done its all fine. it goes back up no problems, and if it was already slightly down it is also ok. is it likely that i have something caught in the window channel on this side? any help/ideas would be great.
    thanks.

I had this happen to me a while back and it turned out to be a broken plastic slide in the window mechanism. Basically the plastic part that slides along the channel had disintegrated and was catching near the top of the track but was working fine when in the middle of going up or down. Ended up having to replace the whole window mechanism...................I mean why should the little pastic part costing a few cents be sold separately

What he said.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^............but there is a less expensive fix , do a search ... there is a post which covers this (I think it was by waynep) where you replace the plastic rollers with ones from Bunnings @ about $5.00 !!!
