At the bottom of the above link is to PDF files which are really helpful. Again it does state USE AT OWN RISK. I weighed up the options and have made my own following those instructions.

I have my 130 for sale and don't wish to sell it with the restraints in as it is not approved and I don't want to the purchaser to think otherwise.

If interested let me know. I think it cost me about $10 to make, not including the attatchment points. If you don't want the attatchment points you can have the bolts and steel for nix. The attatchment points also have crush tubes on the bolts.

I notice you are at Wagga, I get up to Albury, Lavington on a weekly basis is that helps. pm me if interested.
    Cheers

Here is some pics. I only put in two of the three restraints but only used the middle one. All bolts including restraint bolts have crush tubes in them. Any queries let me know I can email larger sized pics if requested.

The instructions in your PDF files were of great assistance in manufacturing the bar.
I tried to sell it to Easo for $16,000 but it came with a free Defender 130 Unfortunately no takers.
The lump of steel has been gifted to Easo and the defender is still for sale without restraints.

    130 restraint points

The problem in NSW is the restraint point must be able to be reached and undone without tools and without moving / removing the seats.

I have seen one solution to this and it left a big bracket across the rear window that would hit the head of an adult sitting in the seat when the child seat is removed. OUCH!!

I built something similar to the bar described in the earlier post but I used an aluminium bar 15mm by about 65mm (it was free) and bolted it to the same place but it extends behind those bracing bars and has spacers for the bolts. We have 3 seats across the back seat.

My rear seat also has been shifted back by reversing the brackets at the front pivot point and drilling new mount holes in the side stays on the seat backs. Gives the little tykes a bit more leg room.

What ever you do remember to put in the time and effort to make it well and strong as suited for its purpose. And prey you never need to test it too hard.

I have dealer fitted restraint points - 3 that mount into the wheel box and floor in the rear. The company that "engineered" them is Vehiquip in FermTreeGully. They supply an engineering certificate on request. Cost $270 for All three points.
