No, the P38A is too tall for the NSW-SA leg of the trip. We'll take the Forester. It's only about $200 each way for the car (less staff discount).

Less time, I won't be at work.

I was thinking of starting a daily item on spelling, punctuation, etc.

For example, one person here writes "my'n" instead of "mine" (the wrong version is actually more work to write than the correct version!), another writes "do,nt" instead of "don't", whilst several others put spaces on the wrong side of commas, e.g. "If I could weld ,and I wish I could ,I'd weld that up." instead of "If I could weld, and I wish I could, I'd weld that up."

If we all learned one thing a day, we'd learn a lot. Maybe a simple one grammatical/style/other item mentioned each day would be fun. I don't mean to take the mickey out of anyone but if we can do useful stuff, why not do it. Jeez, I'm not a grammar whiz.

Now, who is gunna help me with my welding? Actually, since the cataract was removed from my left eye, I can see a bit better for welding (with a contact lens in place). So the last job I did was better than some of my other recent attempts and a bit like the welding I used to be able to do.
