    How much is involved in adapting these 2 together??

    Not much I expect that they fit straight on.

    With the R380 you have to make sure that they have come off a diesel and not a V8 and the disco boxes have a different selector arrangement to the defender boxes. I expect that this might be the same for the LT77. Check the bell housing dimensions and the input shaft length.
