    suspension bushes

    Hi All,
Well I did the dead and finally found my Fender, '96 130 TDI DC , my question is which suspension bushes to use, I have read thread after thread and opinion seems equally divided. 2 local work shops use rubber only but local suspension mob swear by the Poly ones. What is the correct answer???? While on the suspension topic has any one used Dobison Shockies? how well do they work as opposed to the rest?
    Thanks
    Malcolm

I second the Super Pro bushes... on a 130. Nice driving, and on a 130 the chassis flexes more than the bushes anyways!!!

shocks shocks shocks... what ever you use, if you load her up and bang it along corrugated roads it will eat the rears! Ive tried and cooked:
OEM (reasonable but faded soon enough)
Bilsteins (ex disco but seemed fine till I ran to Virilya in 12 hours)
LCruiser OEM (on at moment were holding up oaky but just noticed a bleed - got em for free so no loss?)
Have some GU Bilsteins which I think will be next on... but Im working on a dual setup.

'10 130 dual cab fender (getting to know it's neurons)

If you have read everything that has been said here previously about bushes, then this new thread will add nothing new. There is no "correct answer" that will be agreed to by everyone. All you can do is to look at the previous posts and make your own decision based on your priorities.

    Hi Mal,

I've used a few different brands of poly bushes. There is an inverse relationship between advert hype and value IMHO.

Superpro (Fulcrum) are the best I've used. Soft but durable and the crush tubes are the correct lengths.

    cheers, DL

Must admit, we use rubber - but only genuine LR bushes - the pattern part rubbers are crap.
