There will be a fault code that must be cleared.
Finally the Td5 headgasket blown problem decided to hit me this week. I knew it would arrive sooner rather than later but it still hits hard at only 154,000 k's.
Luckily for me I had installed the Madman EMS system which limited the damage to replace the headgasket only and not up for a totally new head rebuild as well. The Madman is worth its weight in gold....
My problem now is the aircon/condensor fan is running continuously when the ignition is on. It never did this before the headgasket change so something is not right.
I have poured over the Rave CD and there is still no answer. According to it everything is working as it should. The heater self diagnostics tell me that all is ok and nothing is open/closed circuit.
I have checked over the repair and all connectors are plugged in, the repairer never disconnected the aircon so it doesn't need refilling. I have disconnected the battery hopefully for something to default to original settings but that did not work either
I'm struggling for a solution......
EDIT: Would a Nanocom pickup this problem???

Engine had an overheat and ECU is working in protect mode.Yes a Nanocom will read/delete the fault.
Im sure somebody in your area will help.In "Electronic Diagnostics" there is a list of us with diagnostic gear.
