    The Expeditionware Male DOT Brake Hose is a four-layer design, with a spiral black plastic layer protecting the clear plastic layer against abrasion. The clear plastic layer protects the braided stainless steel layer against the elements. The braided stainless steel protects the Teflon inner core and reinforces it against high pressures. End fittings are tightly crimped in place and covered with a polymer reinforcing sleeve. The Male DOT Brake Hose meets all DOT standards and is street legal. This hose is a direct replacement for the factory male brake hoses on the Range Rover Classic, the rear brake hoses on all NAS Disco1's, and all of the brake hoses on all NAS Defenders. All threads on the fittings match those of the factory Land Rover factory brake hoses. No adapter or other vehicle butchery is required for a proper installation. The Male DOT Brake Hose measures 21" long from tip to tip. Sold individually. (Shown for illustration purposes with the factory male brake hose.)
