Sounds interesting.... i was going to try and pick up some defender rear hubs to use, i wonder what needs to be done to the drum hubs to fit the rotors? are there any members out there that have actualy done this mod???

Sam Overton at Haultech Eng. is the only person I know who has actually done it. He should be happy to help if you give him a call (he is also on outerlimits every so often).

The stub axles are custom - billet machines - around $800/pr. The hubs need to be machined to take the bearings, Drum hubs may have more meat, but you can use either. You just need to face the back of the (drum) hubs and drill and tap them to accept disc rotors.

    Very nice!!!

I forgot to say above - you can use either drum hubs (county rear) or disc hubs (county front) - or possibly 200Tdi disc rear.

Around the time they changed to the 300Tdi, they also changed to a narrower bearing spacing. Unless JM make narrow-bearing stubs you will need wide bearing hubs.

I think the rover tracks stubs are probobly narrow spacing so i guess im up for some defender hubs.... probobly not such a bad thing when im trying to do the whole defender rear brake setup as well, using bush65's method with the hyrdoboost as well.
