I have never had to yet, although it would not be a hard job as all the interior pannels are easily unboltable with captive nuts etc.

Slunnie, the front has an intermediate shaft with a center bearing from a hilux (i think anyway, haultech built it?), it works ok, but when under lots of load it rubs on the bellhousing. I first noticed this noise when youwere in the passsenger seat, trying to get up that washout, but couldnt see it until i removed the massive bash plate.

I have built it so the front and rear shafts are the same length, and i only have to carry 1 spare.

Hangover, i doubt it very much, as there are trucks out there that have spent over 10 times the amount i have........seriously it owes me bugger all (if i told you you would call me a liar), i am a bargain hunter.

A bit more done yesterday, and i will have most of tomorrow to work on it (will put up pics then). The rear chopped chassis box section has been blanked off with tube and conneced to the roll cage. Also the rear lower diff mounts built and tacked into place. Tomorrow hopefully i can get my bling lower arms built, and start on the upper mounts.

been too busy lately with work, and striping out p38s (well its fun!). I just ordered some missalignment spacers from the US, as i got sick of making them at work.

I had to machine about 10mm off the outside of the brake drum to fit the 17 inch rims on. I got the rim centers plasma cut though, but thats about it.

My wife is due for child No.2 on the same weekend as tuff truck. I would never live it down if i was driving up a cliff while she was in labour. My family is always No.1 priority, with cars a close 2nd. (closer than most).

I will pull my finger out though, i promise.

I will also post up a few pics of some other interesting parts i will also be using.

On a totally unrelated topic....... does anyone know the lowest compression pistons you can get for a 4.6
