I like to do mine every Saturday morning its like a ritual then during the week just keep an eye ear and feelers out for anything that might not be working as well as it should and i like to jump under every 5000K to check all the rubbers etc, or before and after a trip off road

    Before any big trip...
    Before a run to Adelaide
    Daily During a trip
    Upon return from trip

otherwise only when 1 of the following occurs...

    1) Noise I havent heard before
    2) Washer bottle needs topping Up
    3) I'm giving her a service.

My Landies have been the MOST reliable vehicles I've ever owned (no BS)

Weekly, unless I'm out bush or travelling, then its either daily or before I set off after stopping.

When travelling no mater what car I always check under the bonnet at least twice a day.
