    V8 with LPG Injection or TDI with LPG?

    Hi All,

    I have 96 300 TDI Disco and am looking at the pros and cons of:

    1. Keeping the Disco and fitting it with LPG
    2. Replacing the Disco with a '94 RR Classic and fitiing it with LPG vapour injection.

    With the price of diesel seeming never to go under $1.20 per litre and gas is around 50c this is my main motivation.

    I guess what I want is any input from people who have done this to either vehicle and what was their experience.

    Also any recommendations of installers in Melbourne would be appreciated.

    I have a 3.9 on gas and love it except for the range. Diesel is the way to go for extended trips but if you are around town more often than not gas is the go and a V8 sounds just plain horny.

    If got a 96 disco V8 on gas and a 98 Tdi defender on gas,what do you want to know?. Pat
