The current OE supplier is Lemförder, so genuine for starters.
Karcraft is one wholesaler that supplies Lemförder, and any of their stockists, too.

Very, very frustrating when even the supposedly OEM supplier brand can't even finish a thread properly on a tie rod end. Of course, it had to be the left hand thread one I just bought today, the one I needed desperately. An hour with a rifler file and it's usable.

FWIW I used QH when I needed to replace the tie rod ends, and they've changed their design too, I had to drill and tap two for grease nipples as they are now greased for life, just like evreyone else

The 3 QH ones currently on the Disco are still great. Chalk and cheese difference with thread quality. Never been a fan of grease nipples on tie rods. In my experience they're either sealed perfectly and last a long time without any additional grease, or loose because the boot has failed.

Lemforder are the genuine tie rods. They are sealed for life. Not the life of the vehicle, but the life of a consumable part.

They also don't have grease nipples, aftermarket and the cheap ties rods do have grease nipples.
When you buy Lemforder, you are supplied with just the tie rod. No nuts,
they are a separate part to purchase.

Cheaper aftermarket ones usually also include either a nylock or castelated nut and split pin.
    Cheers, Mario
