Thats the look I am thinking of But have to decide on Flares first.
I will also be using the Tree slider pipe as a step for SWMBO and kids as they use my Alloy side steps they will just need to step higher.

I think it would put a heap of leverage through if it is designed that the one in your pics (rather than like an body outrigger) and absolutely landed on - the mounts would probably flex and bend you sills/doors, but if its done so that the sill is used to control the upwards movement and distribute the load through the sill also like what justin has, then I cant imagine it causing any problems because the slider can be forced up and there is no point loadings from it onto the body.

I was thinking of doing it like that somehow, in my opinion it seems like the strongest option
But then again i probably won't even use them much
I'll have a good look at Justin's setup next time i see him.
