I haven't had this problem yet but since no one else has offered a suggestion, I thought I'd pip in.

I've been looking at the RAVE CD (disc 2) and found mention of how the AC fan works. Basically the low speed settings go through a resister mounted to a connector (C0425) It is white connector with a Brown/yellow on pin 1, a blue wire on pin 2 and a green wire on pin 4. There is no photo or connector drawing given. The only location given is that it is "behind the RH side of fascia" which I assume to mean the AC control knob panel. You might be able to check it out by removing the RHS speaker and having a look inside the cavity.

Try looking on the side of the fan motor where the wires go in. There may be a resistor there where the wires plug in to the fa motor. Alternativly, ring a wrecker in your area and ask for a price on one and exactly where it is located.
