Thanks to the wonderful economic climate, it's now about $340 for the expensive one.

Blimey... We charge £130 or £225 depending on chassis number, for the regulator, gasket and O ring! And that's with VAT!
225.00 GBP = 354.985 AUDThat's what they are worth here and when you add postage it makes it more expensive to buy overseas

A tip is once you have it installed get a mirror and check under the whole housing for any fuel leakage after a few klms.
have heard about fitting these but the first time i have heard back frome any one who has fitted one many thanks

Is that just the regulator, or the whole modified housing?

It is impossible to access the end pipe fitting without removing the alternator.
I replaced that hose without removing the alternator...

Had to take the inlet manifold off instead though...

I removed my regulator from the engine today. Pulled it apart and changed the seals. When I removed the o-ring for the strainer I found the strainer was damaged (broken in half), so now I need to wait until I can get a new one of these before I can reassemble it completely (I've also managed to loose the new o-ring for the strainer...)

    HELP

Has any one out there driven any distance with on of these leaking? We put a Td5 in a old Range Rover in place of the 3.9L. And the Truck is now in Canada... Winnipeg to be Exact.. and needs to get back to Toronto Area next week. To save the Google Mapping that's about 2250km. I am hoping that you guys will have some experiences ... the British Forums were useless as you could drive from one end to the other and back and still not cover that distance , and they are pansies
