    My belief is that to keep a vehicle in top mechanical order that little jobs such as this should be fixed. Its well and good to say that its not needed but at what point do you sacrifice something because its not needed. Maybe its a snowy day in the highlands at some point and your battery is a bit down that little extra help makes the difference. Just my thoughts

    Get a second hand one from just about anywhere - AMV, TRS, etc.

    Yeah I'm the same, I always try an get the little things done. Otherwise they'll add up to a big thing

    I was just a bit taken aback by the price. I might try and track down a second hand one if I can
