Then again, I could always get the free upgrade and if I don't like it get the toombie one. Strange how it still draws me... it's FREEE
I had the choice between the AutoLogic and the one from SA. The dealer advised to go auto logic. I took his advice and am happy with the result.
I was at the Sydney LRO club day at Graeme Cooper and the AutoLogic aquited itself well. It was however piped by the SA one. However the AutoLogic did win the produced the most "smoke" when at full reves.
I believe there was about 5% better preformace from the SA chip up graded Defenders and disco's.
CG's comment was and he sells neither upgrade (at the time) was that the autologic unit probably was better tuned to the UK climate and hence the smoke issue??
I think the SA unit I refer to is the forum supplier/supporter so I would say if going again (and I might) I'd go that way given what I've seen and read.

I'd be keen to hear how it goes if you go that route. I have an 03 td5 that has a BD chip. I originally took i there to fix the lack of bottom end, when I got it back it still had no bottom end but it did have neck snapping acceleration once the turbo cut in. I tok it back and said that that wasn't very usable offroad, he apologised and said he gave me the wrong program. I then drove out with a much milder truck and I feel it's not really that much better than standard. Well standard with a bigger intercooler. I'm thinking of getting a toombie upgrade. But I'm waiting till I get my exhaust done. I guess you've got nothing to lose if it's free.
Go with Tombie, we have both our TD5's running his upgrades. Have not had any trouble, and I'm sure if we did he would sort it in a flash. See if you can get a quote off Mike, you may be pleasantly surprised.
cheers Greg
