    Belly PLate - Design Suggestions?

Does anyone have a design or suggestions for the design of a belly plate for a range rover classic Ute - want to protect but also remove hang up points.

Also any suggestions on how to protect the front steering (other than stiffer control arms)?

    Thanks in advance

What ever you end up building make sure there's plenty of holes to let the heat out, alloy tends to gouge and tear on rocks so steel or stainless steel
might be better.Don't build it too heavy as lighter cars go better, the belly plates catch a lot of mud too so be careful when removing for cleaning, the extra weight could catch you out if you're under it.
    Cheers Eric.

They all can catch a lot of grass and other vegetation, and have been responsible for quite a few fires over the years! So be careful both in design and maintenance/cleaning.
