    Noise id help

I am getting a "pitter/patter" for want of a better term, noise somwhere through the driveline, (like a stone in the tyre). Can only hear it at low speed due to tyre noise drowning it out once speed picks up and no vibration to be felt, any ideas where I should start looking, thanks.

    Drive it on stand

I would jack it up one wheel at a time, put it in gear and run it. You will gain confidence in the speed you can rev up to. When balancing wheels long long ago, 30 to 50 kph was usual but we would run up to 100 kph sometimes. I suggest you chock the other wheels and use an axle stand, not just the jack. It is best with 2 people but you can hop out and put a brick on the loud pedal and listen yourself.
