Thread: 93 D1 Tacho no go

Hi all,

I have a 93 200tdi with a tacho that won't go. Have found the grey and white wire and it is firmly attached to the W post on the back of the alternator.

Are there other diy things I can check?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a wiring diagram that is a bit more comprehensive that the Haynes manual?

try the rave cd. I had a look at mine but it only goes back to 1995. They don't cost much, I think I paid about $15 for mine about four years ago.
