    200tdi dead slave cylinder after just 5,000K's ?

    well, about 5K ago I had the clutch slave cylinder die slowly over a few weeks with a small leak....replaced it no worries but then today whislt driving, the new one completely crapped itself only 50 meters from work, parked the car came back this arvo and it had bled to death in the carpark

    So, is this just bad luck? There is no sign of leak from nipple or pipes...I am thinking the diaphragm ruptured?

    hmm, the drive across sydney in low range with no clutch tomoro morning to coopers will be interesting.....

    Maybe the fluid line has a leak.

    Or it's bleeding to death inside the clutch assembly itself.

    Buggered if I know.

    But zeroing in on the slave cylinder time and again would appear to be counter productive. Afterall, it's only 5ks old!

    the master cylinder may be recirculating OR the forks collapsed.
