    1996 v8

    hi just fitted new head gasket i have one plug left over it comes out from behind coil pack the colors r purple orange white and light blue , any idears

    Just had a look at my 3.9 91 model. Nothing with those colours sorry. There is a couple of plugs there so look the plenum chamber and near your injectors. Sorry i can not be of more help. Cheers Brett

    Coil pack???
    I have a 96 V8 no coil pack, it runs a dizzy.
    But you should have a plug that goes onto the Stepper motor on drivers side rear.
    A Fuel temp sensor that is on the injector rail on the passenger side, middle of fuel rail. 8 injector plugs. A plug to the TPS on the plenum throttle intake.
    I temp sensor for gauge on the left front of inlet manifolds and next to that another temp gauge for the ECU, ( this has an 'injector' plug like plug.)
    Then there is the Thermostat cover that also has a sensor with a 2 prong plug. And off course there is a flat plug that goes onto the Maf
