You will not go a rover used motor but will go a holden used motor and then pay heaps to get it all modified to go in.
Seems as if you have made up your mind.
Why not pull your current heads and see exactly what you have done or have not done with your current engine - they are tough and most likely you have just blown a head gasket and maybe warped a head a bit - a few days work and a head gasket set and other bits is less than $150 and some of your time. You want a to get a Rover that will go straight in but are prepared to use a different engine that will not go straight in. To put in a different type of engine is going to take a hell of a lot longer, a lot more hassle, and then you have to get the lot engineered.
