Likely be the one you will make out of stainless and fit a safari bug catcher on
I'm not sure safari make one for a 4BD1 these days.

A well made stainless looks great

I have been wondering the same thing.

Where would we find one of these if we don't have the fabrication/welding skills to make our own?

I figured any right-side snorkel could be plumbed in to suit as the body is the same. Just the flexi pipe would be the difference.

Yep, same boat here, want a snorkel, don't know what to get. Will those designed for 300tdi's restrict airflow or be high enough flow for the larger engine?

Mine is a 300tdi snorkle and was fitted by the Gordon at opposite lock rockdale, they just used a larger diameter flexi-pipe that was identical size to the original piping (3inch?). I haven't noticed any difference in engine temps or or how the car drives.

    Shane,
If you do want an actual Safari snorkel, then it's the 300Tdi one that goes on the driver's side that you want. (200Tdi snorkel was on the left).
You can get various types of 3" hoses from Des Munday's in Nth Geelong.

I prefer making my own accessories, but that's not an option for everyone.
