sorry not much of an update, popped up there this morning to drop it off to get the 3" mandrel exhaust fitted, wow its quiet!! maybe its because i'm used to my 90 or maybe cause i drove it a few times with bugger all exhaust? anyways exhaust is done - with a removeable muffler, now i just gotta get time to try and finish electricals or find someone to pay to do it

sorry i forget to look for p/n for alternator benny and chief.

went to visit the baboon today and got the bonnet cut out to fit, front clip back on. had a drag with my mate who just put on a td05 on his 'panda' a 120" isuzu ute, and absolutely blitzed him - neither of us have our pyro's or boost gauges hooked up yet so we are guessing with fuel, and my wastegate is set to 19psi (that will be upped to around 25ish) and his is 11psi so not much of a even competition though.

so nice to drive, 2nd gear just above idle on grass and if you dump the throttle she has considerable wheel spin! i think good things will come when its finished, i'm dropping it off at my mechanics trow to finish bits off as it is getting to time consuming for me to keep playing on it, so i can roadworthy and register her!!!!

then dyno for shiats and giggles

    Hi All,

i am new down here, usually more on ih8mud as i am landcruiser boy, don't shoot me please , but i have a huge interest into this 4bd1t special built.

I have fitted this very same turbo to my french landcruiser 80 HDT and it brought alive the truck on an amazing way.

Since in china i can't get a proper 80, i am heading to a custom built 6x6 light truck with a 4bd1t spicy sauce.

I am therefore more than interested into this setup and the output of it.

My plan is to get what most of you look for, 200hp and about 600nm at low rpm, 1200 would be great :-) and still not sucking fuel like a tanker

So great to find as much info on the 4bd1t down here, thanks for sharing guys
