Lr 110 County 3.9D
Hi!
My 85 County Isuzu has Aussie built 200 lb/in in the front from manufacture. The spring wires finish square / un-tapered. There were a couple of sources. The rears were the Land Rover manufactured 180 lb/in with the Boge strut and a sway bar same as the V8 version. I found the rear a little soft especially as the original fit Armstrong shocks faded. The faded shocks allowed the front suspension to have a dominate roll control instead of a virtual point between. The original front set up had a different brand of shock also, Monroe I remember. I replaced the original rear 180 lb/in coils with a set supplied by Rangie Spares in Melbourne. These were 200 ft/lb, variable and of a length to allow the Landie to sit level un-laden rather than nose high. This gave a more neutral roll axis on highway corners and lost little in rear axel articulation off road. The original shocks were the softest and all replacement after market shocks have all been stiffer. Recent Koni shocks have been the best. The army may have 200 lb/in on the front and 250 lb/in rear with a harsh ride.
Hop this helps!

The front springs I have fitted are rated at 225lb/in and the rears are dual rate progressive at 270/420lb/in so looks I am in for a harsh ride!!!
The rear springs (RKB 101111-brown/purple)are those fitted up to the most recent defenders inc station wagons so thought they should be ok though.

From memory the King springs part number for rear HD range rover springs is the same as 110 County front springs.
