not so, theres a few other things to be checked first.
like the advance weights on the dizzy.
give it a rev to about 1200RPM and then let it run back to idle if it goes away while its on over run its not usually anything to disasterous.
Id also be doing a compression test before lifting the head off.

does any one here happen to know from past experance where i can get the parts i need from? looking at all options from replacing the offending piston/sleve + bearings to the full over haul kit!!
