    It appears to have an adaptor kit (Zenith or similar) on the RR engine, which explains the flywheel difference. Looking at the mating surfaces I would say it has a V8 clutch bellhousing on the gearbox. As per our discussion I would say easiest remedy is to take your old pressure plate to a clutch shop and get a HD version. Bet you didn't think you were going to have this much hassle to replace the clutch

    well its back on the road, ended up being a v8 clutch, went to All 4x4 and John recognised it right away. now to start fixing her up aesthetically.
