    Nice work ive been trying to decide what to do for mine msa or R380 i have both

    I just wish i had access to a lathe and a mill so i could make shafts and the like alloy flanges are easly done at work with the cnc router and there isnt much i cant weld

    Even then, I wouldn't trust one after PSimpson7 broke one in his TD5 90.

    I broke one after 8 years behind the Isuzu. The isuzu box is far better alround except for the shift smoothness and bloody flywheel being to light.

    justin, are you saying the truck flywheel is lighter than the rover flywheel, or its just to light in general?

    I understand the rover-isuzu flywheel is the same as the early (pre 88) 4BD1T truck flywheel. Mine certainly matches the pictures others have posted here.
    These are far too light for the application, which is why we have torque pulses killing gearboxes. Cummins 4BT flywheels run approx twice the weight.
