    Injector Removal

    Hi All,

Planning on removing the injectors this weekend and sending them off for a long over due freshen up. Look at the manual it seems as easy as number them, unbolt the fuel return, then the line, then the injectors.. and reverse for assembly..

Is there anything else I should know?

    Cheers

clean the injector area well before you remove them,

I generally roll the engine over to about 90BTDC on the intake stroke then put a heap of compressed air on the intake manifold as Im pulling the injector so any leftover crap comes out with the injector rather than going in.

use a bottle brush to clean the injector bore with the air still on.
