Fixed the heater stuffupnew foam on the flaps , new core ,new blower housing new blower motor all for something that probably will never be used
.Took nearly as long as the engine install
but keeps the hoses clear of the fuel filter
Mine has had two issues in all the time I've had it. Both directly caused by over-zealous water-blaster use.
Can't blame it really. I'd refuse to work if someone just hit me with 1750psi and found the leaks in my skin too.
Each time unhook the cable and heat from the engine has it dry by the time the drive has finished.

Well after nearly 18 months took the dero for a short run on the bitumen. a few problems some easy some nottopped out at 103 k on the GPS speedo easy fix change to fourth
Temp gauge showing 120 degrees but not even warm easy mismatched sender
Bit noisy but with no rear windows cant tell for sure but might need a small muffler The gear change is a bit crappy I will see how it goes on the road or might re profile the ball part that fits the selector shafts .The biggest problem is the restriction indicator is tripping. I will hook up a vacuum gauge and see what it pulls .Other than that seems to go well no vibrations apart from usual Isuzu
steers and rides nicely. Engineering and roadworthy next week all being well registration then a decent run might even see if it will pull fifth
gearing seems to be ideal
If those are your only issues then you need to be congratulated on your workmanship and attention to detail
I'm not too surprised the filter indicator is tripping. Mine does it as soon as it sees a bit of load. Mine is smaller engine, smaller ducting (75mm vs 90), and most likely less boost (I'm only getting around 15psi under ideal conditions at present). I've got a 25"H2O Donaldson Informer.
Doesn't trip if I leave the inlet to the air filter disconnected from the snorkel and hose.

Sounds great Steve might need a brake controller and a fiddle with the fuel screw first tho![]()
No need for the fuel screw its all down hill from your place -
Brakes could be an important addition to the trailer - unless you want to build a railway line to the coast

A little closer Thru engineering today mod plate for engine + gearbox 9" diffs and long range fuel tanks. even passed road worthy as wellJust got to go and do battle with an old foe
give them a heap of money and should be good to go
