I see on eBay an Excedy "button clutch for ISUZU NPR NPS 4bd1 4bd1t". Item 181943553825
Know nothing about button clutches, but possibly different == lighter pedal?
Steve
Well this has reared its ugly head again! I really need to sort the clutch release point.
Have tried a 300tdi and v8 master and that made no difference.
ANYBODY have any ideas. Need to get the release point a bit further from the floor
Do you have extra free play at the top end - ie is it just a case of moving the range up from the floor?
If it was, then lengthening the master cylinder pushrod should do it.
I'm guessing its not that simple though and you don't have the extra free play at the up end.

The master piston and pushrod are attached via some clip of some kind. The piston and rod are as far back as they can go.
When you connect the pushrod to the pedal it pulls the pedal about 20mm closer to the floor.
So its non adjustable, but am thinking of modding the pushrod somehow to get the pedal back onto its stopper.
I am getting very frustrated as i need to be out of this house in 3 weeks!!!!!
Yes, took my mig gas bottle back this morning! Handy😣
From memory your welder is the smaller version of mine so will do stick too.
Any stick rods lying in the cupboard or in the neighbour's shed?
Don't go overboard and try and get all the 20mm extra or you'll end up with no free play at the top and the system won't release properly, gradually pump up and clutch slip when it all gets hot.
If you're unlucky enough to have that happen once you're on your way, cracking the bleed nipple relieves it so you can keep going..(from experience)
