Will have another look at the pedal box tomorrow, but pretty sure I didn't see anything adjustable on it.

Well stuck my head under there and there is nothing adjustable and the pedal box for the clutch. All i have that is adjustable is the slave cylinder push rod.
Silicone brake fluid (Dot 5) might make the hydraulic workings move easier and make for softer and smoother pedal feel.
It's not all that expensive and has the added advantage of not attracting water.
It won't break the bank to give it a go!
Easiest place to get it is from a Harley Davidson motorcycle outlet.
Last time I purchased some it cost about $15 for approx. 350ml bottle.
Other brands of it are Penrite and Belray, plus a few more.
(PS Do not confuse it with Dot 5.1)
Cheers, Mick.
Turns out i now need a new clutch plate to suit my new gearbox
Would a custom clutch help with the heavy pedal???

assume you've taken out the spring on the pedal lever?
