FWIW, my genuine Isuzu turbo pressure plate (275mm) is still going well after 50K kms and a fair bit of heavy towing.
When it was almost brand new I had to change the front seal on the engine. I had to give up on undoing the nut when I managed to get the pressure plate to slip with a 2M piece of heavy pipe on the breaker bar, vehicle in gear, chocked and SWMBO on the brakes . A rough calculation worked out around 1000ft/lbs at the flywheel.
No idea how that compares to the clamp force on these aftermarket HD ones.
