A Red 6X6 was used early on and stripped. This has the same 6X6 plates as the latter engiineering wide cab crew cab in the Photo.
The white single Wide cab parked next to the white narrow crew cab in one of the early pictures is the same chassis.as that cab was a preproduction.
The chassis was different and was cut up to be used with later moc ups.
Before it went to Kalgoorlie,my auto ellecy mate in Narrogin owned it.
He paid alot for it,had it in his shed for a few years then traded it in on a fairly new F250 dualcab,he only got $20K or so for it.I dont think he ever used it,it was too big to use as a daily driver, and his wife got ill about then.
I was pretty annoyed at the time as I would have bought it off him, especially at the crazy price he let it go for.It then later turned up in Kalgoorlie."liuetanant rover" had bought it from the yard where it was traded.
I had a good look thru it when it was down here, seemed really well built, there were plenty of oil leaks.
The original build was reported to be in the $150 000 area.
I did have quite a few pics of it,havent seen them for years.

It used to live two streets behind me in Kalgoorlie. I didn't even know it had been sold, much less gone to the US. But then, I hadn't seen it for a long time either.
Cheers .........
